The Krypton-36 integrated headset is standard issue for Element Technic frames. It utilizes the 36° Oversize angular contact bearing ( ACB ) . Although not as common as the 45?ACB standard , there should be little need to replace it; in more than a thousand frames over four years, we have seen neither bearing nor head tube failure.
