CNC BB SHELLS & HEAD TUBES
Element Technic frames use CNC tubes at the critical main junctions of the frames: the BB Shell and Head Tubes . By using precision CNC'd parts, we can ensure critical frame alignment during manufacture. After welding and heat-treatment, these parts are machined again to their final dimensions. BB SHELLS:

KEG Bottom Bracket Shell for XC frames :
- Oversized barrel outer shape for strength and stiffness and to match perfectly with our oversize down tube.
- Internally hollowed to save unnecessary weight.

ISCG 1-Piece BB-Shell for Xenon-E frame:
- ISCG chainguide mounting bosses are unified with the BB shell, by carving it from a block of solid metal.
- One-piece CNC construction is stronger and straighter than welded-on mounting tabs.

Oversize Integrated Ø1-1/8" for XC frames :
- Compatible with integrated oversize-ball 36° ACB headsets (TH Standard).
- Stronger and more durable than Cane-Creek IS or ZS compatible systems. In 3 years, we have never seen a failure of this kind of headset!
